Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, sesame seeds, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the softened butter, vanilla extract, and egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball with a fork.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
