Sesame Seed Fudge (til Barfi)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sesame seeds
  • 1 cup jaggery
  • 2 tbsp ghee

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the sesame seeds in a pan until they turn golden brown. Let them cool.
  2. Grind the roasted sesame seeds to a coarse powder.
  3. In a pan, heat ghee and add jaggery. Cook until the jaggery melts and forms a syrup.
  4. Add the ground sesame seeds to the jaggery syrup and mix well. Cook for a few minutes until the mixture thickens.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased tray and let it cool. Cut into pieces once it sets.
