Ingredients
- 2 cups sesame seeds (til)
- 1 cup jaggery, grated
- 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
Instructions
- Heat a pan on low flame and dry roast the sesame seeds until they turn light brown and aromatic. Remove from the pan and let them cool.
- In the same pan, heat ghee and add the grated jaggery. Cook until the jaggery melts and forms a syrup-like consistency.
- Add the roasted sesame seeds to the jaggery syrup and mix well until everything is combined.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly so that it can be handled. While it's still warm, take small portions and shape them into round balls.
