Sesame Seed Sweet Balls (til Laddu)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sesame seeds (til)
  • 1 cup jaggery, grated
  • 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan on low flame and dry roast the sesame seeds until they turn light brown and aromatic. Remove from the pan and let them cool.
  2. In the same pan, heat ghee and add the grated jaggery. Cook until the jaggery melts and forms a syrup-like consistency.
  3. Add the roasted sesame seeds to the jaggery syrup and mix well until everything is combined.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly so that it can be handled. While it's still warm, take small portions and shape them into round balls.
  5. Your Sesame Seed Sweet Balls (Til Laddu) are ready to be served or stored in an airtight container.
