Seychellois Vegetable Stir-fry

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic, and stir-fry for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the bell pepper, green beans, and carrots, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and sugar.
  6. Pour the sauce over the stir-fried vegetables and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Remove from heat and serve the Seychellois Vegetable Stir-Fry hot.
