Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb or beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate molasses

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground meat and onion until browned. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Season with allspice, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into small circles.
  3. Place a spoonful of the meat and spinach mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the edges to form a small pie and pinch to seal.
  4. Sprinkle the pies with pine nuts and brush the tops with pomegranate molasses.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
