  • 500g minced lamb
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Water for dough

  3. Place a spoonful of the marinated lamb mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the filled dough until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  5. Remove the Sha Phaley from the pan and drain excess oil on a paper towel. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney.
