Shahi Tandoori Prawns

Ingredients

  • 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cream
  • Chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Add the prawns to the marinade and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the sliced onion until golden brown.
  4. Add the marinated prawns and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are cooked through.
  5. Stir in the fresh cream and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
