Shahi Tandoori Prawns
Shahi Tandoori Prawns is a royal and flavorful dish from the Mughlai cuisine, known for its rich and aromatic flavors.
Ingredients
- 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh cream
- Chopped coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, and salt.
- Add the prawns to the marinade and let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the sliced onion until golden brown.
- Add the marinated prawns and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are cooked through.
- Stir in the fresh cream and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
