Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the onion, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat a stovetop grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  5. Place the kebabs on the preheated grill or skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
