Shakam Paa is a traditional Tibetan dish made with yak sausage and stir-fried with vegetables. This flavorful and hearty dish is a staple in Tibetan cuisine and is perfect for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 lb yak sausage, sliced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup green beans, trimmed
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced yak sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Add the bell pepper and green beans, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Season the stir-fry with soy sauce, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
- Remove from heat and serve the Shakam Paa hot.
