Shakam Paa (tibetan Yak Sausage Stir-fry)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb yak sausage, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup green beans, trimmed
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced yak sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the sliced onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add the bell pepper and green beans, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Season the stir-fry with soy sauce, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  6. Remove from heat and serve the Shakam Paa hot.
