Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef brisket, cut into large chunks
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 slices ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 4 cups water
Instructions
- In a large pot, add the beef brisket, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, ginger, garlic, green onions, star anise, cinnamon stick, and Shaoxing wine.
- Pour in the water and bring to a boil over high heat.
