Ingredients
- 500g chicken feet
- 3 slices of ginger
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 dried chili pepper
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- In a pot, blanch the chicken feet in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Heat the cooking oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Add the ginger, garlic, and green onions, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the blanched chicken feet to the wok, and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, and sugar. Add the star anise, cinnamon stick, and dried chili pepper. Stir to combine.
- Pour in the water, cover the wok, and simmer for 1 hour, or until the chicken feet are tender and the sauce has thickened.
- Once done, remove the chicken feet from the wok and transfer to a serving plate. Serve hot and enjoy!
