Ingredients
- 1 lb ground lamb
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 inch ginger, grated
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground lamb, soy sauce, sesame oil, green onions, and ginger. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour and water to make the dumpling dough. Knead until smooth, then let it rest for 20 minutes.
- Roll out the dough and cut it into small circles. Place a spoonful of the lamb mixture in the center of each circle and seal the dumplings.
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Place the dumplings in a steamer basket and steam for 15 minutes.
- Serve the 小笼包 hot with dipping sauce.
