Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten

- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the cornstarch and beaten eggs. Dredge the chicken in the mixture.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, combine the sugar, ketchup, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, water, garlic, and ginger. Cook and stir until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce is well combined.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat with the sweet and sour sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve hot.
