Ingredients
- 4 cups diced watermelon
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, puree the diced watermelon until smooth.
- Strain the watermelon puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the pulp.
- Add fresh lemon juice and honey (or sugar) to the pitcher and stir until the sweetener is dissolved.
- Stir in cold water until well combined.
- Refrigerate the sharbat until chilled, or serve over ice immediately.
- Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves before serving.
