Ingredients
- 1 lb shark fillets
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 cup sliced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup tamarind sauce
- 1/4 cup hot pepper sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add water and knead the dough until smooth. Divide into 4 portions and flatten into rounds.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the shark fillets until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- While the shark is frying, deep-fry the dough rounds until puffed and golden, about 2 minutes per side.
- Assemble the shark and bake by placing a fried shark fillet on a bake, then topping with shredded cabbage, sliced tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. Drizzle with tamarind sauce and hot pepper sauce.
