Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless lamb, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 large onion, cut into chunks
  • 2 bell peppers, cut into chunks
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, red pepper flakes, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the spice mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the stovetop grill or a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers, alternating the ingredients.
  5. Place the kebabs on the grill or in the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
