Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita bread or flatbreads
  • Sliced tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers for serving
  • Tahini sauce or garlic sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the yogurt, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the sliced chicken to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

  6. Roll up the bread to enclose the filling and serve immediately.
