Ingredients
- 1 cup short-grain rice
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup rosewater
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios, for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed.
- Stir in the sugar, cardamom, and cinnamon. Cook for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the rosewater.
- Divide the pudding among serving bowls and garnish with chopped pistachios.
