Ingredients
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup rosewater
- 1/4 cup chopped mixed nuts (almonds, pistachios, and walnuts)
- 1/4 cup mixed dried fruits (raisins, apricots, and dates)
Instructions
- In a large pot, combine the rice and milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened.
- Stir in the sugar and rosewater, and continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let the pudding cool slightly.
- Divide the pudding into serving bowls and garnish with the chopped nuts and dried fruits.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
