Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the chopped onion, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
- Add the beef cubes to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly with the spice mixture. Marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Thread the marinated beef cubes onto skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Heat a stovetop grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the kebabs for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach the desired level of doneness.
- Remove the kebabs from the heat and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
