Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
- 1 large red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 large green bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 large red onion, cut into chunks
- For the marinade:
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients together.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken, bell peppers, and onions onto skewers.
- Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are slightly charred.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
