Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 large red bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 large green bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 large red onion, cut into chunks
  • For the marinade:
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix all the marinade ingredients together.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken, bell peppers, and onions onto skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are slightly charred.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
