Ingredients

  • 1 lb lamb, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 4 skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, garlic, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb, onion, and bell pepper onto the skewers.
  5. Grill the kebabs for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
