Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs lamb, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, garlic, olive oil, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers, alternating with chunks of onion and bell pepper.
  5. Grill the kebabs for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
