Shredded Beef Tacos

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 corn tortillas

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck roast with salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin, paprika, and oregano.
  2. Place the seasoned beef in a large pot and add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and beef broth.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat for 4 hours, or until the beef is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  4. Once the beef is cooked, shred it using two forks and mix it with the cooking juices in the pot.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or in the oven.
  6. Assemble the shredded beef tacos by placing a portion of the beef onto each tortilla and adding your desired toppings.
