Ingredients
- 4 cups plain yogurt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon saffron strands
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons slivered almonds and pistachios for garnish
Instructions
- Place the yogurt in a muslin cloth and tie it tightly. Hang it over a bowl for 4-5 hours to drain the excess water and thicken the yogurt.
- Transfer the thickened yogurt to a mixing bowl and add powdered sugar, saffron strands, and cardamom powder. Mix well until smooth.
- Refrigerate the shrikhand for a few hours to chill.
- Garnish with slivered almonds and pistachios before serving.
