Shrimp and Snow Pea Stir-Fry (虾仁炒雪豆)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound snow peas, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  2. Add the shrimp and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the wok and set aside.
  3. Heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in the wok.
  4. Add the garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the snow peas and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  6. Return the shrimp to the wok, and add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes to combine and heat through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
