Ingredients

  • 500g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the shrimp, mashed potatoes, onion, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt.
  2. Shape the mixture into small cutlets.
  3. Dip each cutlet into the beaten eggs and then coat with bread crumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cutlets until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Remove the cutlets from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney.
