Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink. Pour in the white wine and simmer for another 2 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and grated Gruyère cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the shrimp mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the gratin is bubbly and golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
