Ingredients

Instructions

  2. Next, add a layer of chopped onions followed by a layer of grated carrots.
  3. Add a layer of chopped herring on top of the carrots.
  4. Follow with a layer of grated eggs and then a layer of grated beets.
  5. Finally, generously spread mayonnaise over the entire salad, covering it completely.
  6. Refrigerate the salad for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
