Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns, toasted and ground
  • 1 head iceberg or butter lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, marinate the sliced flank steak with soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
