Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 8 oz fresh Chinese wheat noodles
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Chinese sesame paste
- 1 tbsp Chinkiang vinegar
- 1 tbsp Sichuan peppercorn oil
- 1 tbsp chili oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling water, cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the garlic and half of the green onions, and cook until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame paste, vinegar, Sichuan peppercorn oil, chili oil, and sugar. Pour the sauce over the beef mixture and stir to combine.
- Add the chicken broth to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Add the cooked noodles and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Divide the noodles among serving bowls and garnish with the remaining green onions and chopped peanuts.
