Ingredients

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 pita bread pockets
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the mutton with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  3. Add the marinated mutton and cook until the mutton is tender.
  4. Stir in the tomato puree and cook for another 10 minutes.
  5. Warm the pita bread pockets in a toaster or oven.
  6. Fill the pita pockets with the cooked mutton mixture.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
