Ingredients
- 12 tostada cups
- 500g mutton, cut into small pieces
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, pureed
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes. Then, add the mutton pieces and cook until they are browned.
- Stir in the tomato puree, yogurt, and all the spices. Mix well and cook for about 45-50 minutes until the mutton is tender and the gravy thickens.
- Once the mutton is cooked, spoon the bhugal mutton into the tostada cups and garnish with fresh cilantro.
