Sindhi Dal Pakwan Sliders

Ingredients
- 1 cup chana dal
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 12 mini slider buns
Instructions
- Wash and soak the chana dal for 2 hours. Then, pressure cook with turmeric, red chili powder, and salt until soft.
- In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, yogurt, and water to make a soft dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll out into small puris. Deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
- To assemble the sliders, place a spoonful of cooked chana dal on a slider bun, top with chopped onions, tomatoes, and cilantro, and cover with another bun.
