Sindhi Kheema Kathi Roll

Ingredients

  • 500g minced meat
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 parathas
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, and sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Now, add the minced meat and cook until it changes color.
  4. Next, add the tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook until the meat is fully cooked and the mixture is dry.
  5. Warm the parathas and place a portion of the kheema mixture in the center. Roll the paratha tightly to form a kathi roll.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
