Sindhi Kheema Naan

Ingredients

  • 500g minced meat
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour with water to form a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
  4. Add the minced meat and cook until it changes color.
  5. Then add the tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the meat is fully cooked and the mixture is dry.
  6. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a small circle.
  7. Place a portion of the cooked minced meat mixture in the center of each circle and seal the edges to form a stuffed ball.
  8. Roll out each stuffed ball into a naan shape.
  9. Cook the naan on a hot griddle, applying oil on both sides until golden brown spots appear.
