Sindhi Kheema Naan
Sindhi Kheema Naan is a delicious flatbread stuffed with spiced minced meat, a popular dish in Sindhi cuisine.
Ingredients
- 500g minced meat
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup fresh coriander, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour with water to form a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, sauté for a minute.
- Add the minced meat and cook until it changes color.
- Then add the tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the meat is fully cooked and the mixture is dry.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a small circle.
- Place a portion of the cooked minced meat mixture in the center of each circle and seal the edges to form a stuffed ball.
- Roll out each stuffed ball into a naan shape.
- Cook the naan on a hot griddle, applying oil on both sides until golden brown spots appear.
