Sindhi Kheema Samosa

Ingredients

  • 500g minced meat
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 12 samosa pastry sheets
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add onions and green chilies. Sauté until onions are golden brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes. Then add minced meat, turmeric, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the meat is fully cooked.
  3. Let the filling cool down. Then, fill the samosa pastry sheets with the prepared filling and seal the edges using a flour-water paste.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the samosas until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
