Sindhi Koki Sandwich
Sindhi Koki Sandwich is a delicious and filling sandwich made with traditional Sindhi flatbread called Koki, stuffed with flavorful ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Butter for spreading
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
Instructions
- Mix whole wheat flour, onion, green chilies, cumin seeds, red chili powder, salt, and oil in a bowl to make a firm dough.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll out each portion into a thick roti.
- Cook the rotis on a hot griddle until golden brown on both sides.
- Spread butter on one side of each roti and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Place another roti on top to make a sandwich.
- Grill the sandwiches until the cheese melts and the rotis turn crispy.
- Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
