Sindhi Seyal Mani (seyal Mani)
Sindhi Seyal Mani, also known as Seyal Mani, is a traditional Sindhi dish that is packed with flavors and is easy to prepare. This dish is a popular breakfast item in Sindhi cuisine, but it can also be enjoyed as a hearty brunch or lunch.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mani (wheat flour noodles)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups water
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and green chili. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the mani and water. Mix well and cover the pan. Let it cook for 15-20 minutes or until the mani is soft and the water is absorbed.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
