Sindhi Style (aloo Tuk Sliders)
Sindhi Style (Aloo Tuk Sliders) are delicious potato patties served as sliders, inspired by the Sindhi cuisine.
Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for shallow frying
- 8 slider buns
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the mashed potatoes, chopped onion, green chilies, cilantro, cumin seeds, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties until they are golden brown and crispy on both sides.
- Toast the slider buns on the same pan until they are lightly golden.
- Assemble the sliders by placing the potato patties between the buns.
