Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Water as needed
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, chopped onion, green chilies, cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, and oil.
- Add water gradually and knead the mixture into a firm dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and roll each portion into a small disc shape.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook each disc for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels. Serve the Sindhi Style (Koki Tartlets) hot with chutney or yogurt.
