Sinigang Pasta Fusion

Ingredients

  • 250g pasta of your choice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 packet sinigang mix
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, quartered
  • 200g pork belly, sliced
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 red chili, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pot, bring the water to a boil and add the sinigang mix. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Add the onion, tomatoes, and pork belly. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the pork is tender.
  4. Stir in the fish sauce and spinach leaves. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the sinigang soup mixture.
  6. Garnish with sliced red chili, if desired.
