Skewered Meat (traditional Tasqebap)

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs of beef, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the chopped onion, minced garlic, olive oil, red wine vinegar, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
