Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound them to an even thickness.
- In three separate shallow dishes, place the flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs seasoned with salt, pepper, and paprika in the third.
- Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and coat with the seasoned breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the schnitzels from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
