Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and grated
- 1 onion, grated
- 2 eggs

- 1 lb beef stew meat, cut into cubes
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp sweet paprika
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the grated potatoes, grated onion, eggs, flour, salt, and pepper. Mix well to form a batter.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of the potato batter into the skillet, flattening them with a spatula to form pancakes. Cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- In a separate pot, heat some oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic, and cook until softened.
- Add the beef stew meat to the pot and brown on all sides.
- Stir in the sweet paprika, beef broth, and water. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat and let the goulash simmer for about 1 hour, or until the meat is tender.
