Ingredients
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 200g Slovenian cottage cheese
- 200g sour cream
- 100g shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 eggs

- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Boil the sliced potatoes in salted water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, sour cream, mozzarella cheese, eggs, onion, and garlic.
- Grease a baking dish with butter and layer half of the sliced potatoes on the bottom.
- Pour half of the cheese mixture over the potatoes and season with salt and pepper.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes and cheese mixture.
- Dot the top with butter and cover the dish with foil.
- Bake for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
