Ingredients

  • 1 cup small dried fish (kapenta)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small green pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, and salt. Gradually add the warm water and knead the dough until smooth. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired pizza size and thickness.
  4. Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza pan or baking sheet.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Sprinkle half of the grated mozzarella cheese over the tomato sauce.
  7. Evenly distribute the dried fish, onion, and green pepper over the cheese.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and dried oregano over the top.
  9. Drizzle the olive oil over the pizza.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
