Ingredients
- 1.5 kg smoked collar of pork
- 500g dried broad beans

Instructions
- Soak the dried broad beans in water overnight.
- In a large pot, place the smoked collar of pork, chopped onions, minced garlic, bay leaves, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Add enough water to cover the ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 1.5 hours.
- Add the soaked broad beans to the pot and continue to simmer for another 30 minutes, or until the beans are tender.
- Remove the smoked collar of pork from the pot and slice it.
- Serve the sliced pork with the broad beans and some of the cooking liquid.
