Ingredients

  • 1 lb Hokkaido venison, ground
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 oz shiitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 burger buns

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the ground venison, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the venison patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
