Ingredients
- 1 lb Hokkaido venison, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp grated garlic
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 8 wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and black pepper to make the teriyaki marinade.
- Add the venison cubes to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
